1. Who we are

StoopPet is made by Reff LLC, a company based in the United States ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the StoopPet app for Mac, this website, and the online services the app connects to (together, "StoopPet"). By using StoopPet you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use StoopPet.

2. Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use StoopPet on Macs you own or control. StoopPet is in beta: features may change, break or be removed, and we may reset beta data when that is needed to keep the service working.

3. Accounts

Much of StoopPet works without an account. Online features need one. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Credits and purchases

• Some features, such as AI generation, use credits. You buy credits in advance and they are spent as you use those features.
• Credits have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged for money or moved to another account.
• Prices and the number of credits a feature uses are shown before you pay or start a generation, and may change for future purchases.
• Payments are handled by our payment partner, which may act as the merchant of record, collect applicable taxes and appear on your statement.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

5. What you upload

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you give StoopPet. You give us permission to store and process that content, including sending it to the AI model providers we use, only so that we can provide the features you asked for. Upload only content you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of people, or anything unlawful, sexual, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights.

6. What StoopPet generates

Generated images and animations are made by automated systems and may be inaccurate or not what you expected. Subject to these terms, you may use what you generate for your own personal purposes. Other people may generate similar results. We may refuse or remove a generation that breaks these terms.

7. Fair use

Do not misuse StoopPet. That includes trying to get around limits or payment, using it to create unlawful or harmful content, reverse engineering the service, reselling access, or interfering with other people's use.

8. Availability

Some features, including AI generation and purchases, are not available in every country or region, and we may limit them where we cannot offer them. We do not promise that StoopPet will always be available or free of errors.

9. Ending use

You can stop using StoopPet at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

10. Disclaimers

StoopPet is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about StoopPet is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use StoopPet after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the US state in which Reff LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of the place you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.
